Lisa B. Henry, FASID, LEED AP, President
Lisa Henry, FASID, LEED AP, is the Knoll Denver region Architecture and Design Director. Her passion and focus there is on developing ideas and implementing leading edge workplace solutions for corporate office design based on Knoll’s research. Her lengthy ASID service includes numerous volunteer positions with the Colorado Chapter, including president, and terms on several national councils and, most recently, the Board of Directors. |

Barbara Marini, FASID, President-Elect
A teacher, administrator, researcher, mentor and volunteer, Barbara Marini has been instrumental in improving the quality and content of interior design education. Marini is chair of the interior design program at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Detroit, and has also served with organizations such as IDEC and CIDA. She is a longtime ASID volunteer, serving in local and nation roles, including on the Society's board, Chapter Support Team, Student Advisory Council and Council of Fellows, as well as a term as Michigan chapter president. Marini’s commitment to excellence and innovation has impacted interior design education and professionalism nationwide. |

Michael A. Thomas, FASID, CAPS, Immediate Past President
Michael Thomas, FASID, CAPS, is a much-recognized expert on aging-in-place and universal design issues, is president of The Design Collective Group Inc., in Jupiter, Fla. He has been a longtime volunteer with the Society, at both chapter and national levels. Among other chapter positions, Thomas served as president of the Florida South chapter in 1998. At the national level, he has been member and chair of the Aging in Place Council, and served as member of the Communication and Knowledge Resources Council, as counselor for the Society's strategic planning process and on various task forces. More recently, Thomas was the Chapter Support Team Representative to the ASID Board, followed by a two-year term as board member at large. Thomas is a frequent speaker, on behalf of ASID and other organizations, on aging-in-place and universal design issues. He recently authored, with Drue Lawlor, FASID, Residential Design for Aging in Place. |

Sybil Jane Barrido, ASID, CID
Barrido is principal designer for SJvD Design, a full service interior design/development firm in Long Beach, Calif., specializing in hospitality, urban re-use, commercial and residential projects. She is also co-founder/executive director of the Center for Interior Design and Executive Resources (CIDER), providing professional office spaces for designers. A former president of the ASID Los Angeles chapter, she served on the Chapter Support Team (including a term as chair) and as the CST Representative to the Board. |

Jen Bruno, Industry Partner Representative
For the past five years, Jen Bruno has served as national training manager for Hansgrohe, Industry Partner of ASID, serving as the company's main representative to ASID since 2008. In her role with Hansgrohe, Bruno has been integral in hosting ASID events nationwide, while also serving as a CEU presenter. Her involvement with a variety of industry organizations helps inform her perspective on the collaborative relationship between designers and manufacturers. |

Vincent G. Carter, FASID
A longtime volunteer in ASID and other design organizations, Vincent Carter was one of the founding members on the licensing board that implemented the nation's first interior design practice act. He served as Washington, D.C., and ASID representative to NCIDQ, eventually fulfilling a term as president of the Council. Carter has had a distinguished career in interior design and facilities management in the government sector, currently as senior program manager/architect for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. |

Sonya Dufner, FASID, LEED, AP
Dufner is an Associate Principal and Workplace Strategist at the New York Office of Perkins+Will, where she focuses on aligning business objectives with workplace design for both corporate and institutional clients. She served on the national environmental scanning ("Cool Stuff") council.

Sandra Gordon, FASID, LEED AP
Gordon is owner of Sandy Gordon Interiors in Madison, Wisc., specializing in kitchen & bath, retail, sustainable design and aging-in-place design. An instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she is a frequent speaker on a variety of design topics. Long active in leaderhip roles within the ASID Wisconsin Chapter, she served as a member of the Chapter Support Team for three terms, as well as on the national Nominating Committee and Industry Advisory Council.

Steffany Hollingsworth, ASID
Steffany Hollingsworth is a founding partner of HVL Interiors in Santa Fe, N.M., specializing in residential and contract projects. An involved volunteer both locally and nationally, Hollingsworth most recently served as member and chair of the ASID Student Advisory Council and prior to that, on the National Nominating Committee and Chapter Support Team, as well as a term as New Mexico chapter president. Her award-winning design work has been published in numerous national magazines as well as several books.

Sonya Batchelor Odell, FASID, AAHID, RID
An acclaimed healthcare and office interior designer, Sonya Odell is also known for her business acumen and dedication to the profession. An active member of the Texas chapter, she also served as member and co-chair of the ASID Industry Advisory Council, and in various positions with FIDER, NCIDQ and AAHID. Odell is currently an associate principal with BOKA Powell, a multidisciplinary architecture, interiors, planning and design firm. |

Emily Walser, ASID, LEED AP
Emily Walser is an experienced designer and longtime ASID volunteer. For over 15 years she operated her own firm and retail business in Raleigh, N.C. Now a dealer sales consultant for Steelcase, Industry Partner of ASID, Walser maintains regular contact with the A&D community, with a focus on education and sustainability issues. Prior to becoming CST Representative to the Board, Walser served as chair of the Society’s Chapter Support Team and as president of the Carolinas Chapter. |
