IDCEC Members
Those interior design organizations that endorse the career path for the interior design profession are eligible for membership. Stated support for the career path includes formal interior design education, professional experience, national examination, ongoing continuing professional education and ethical professional conduct. Member organizations are expected to regularly attend the bi-annual IDCEC meetings at their own expense that are held in various locations throughout the United States.
Member organizations participate in setting standards for quality. Therefore they serve their constituents by working to insure that a variety of high quality continuing education offerings are available for their professional development.
Interior designer participants taking IDCEC approved courses can receive automatic credit for CEU requirements with any IDCEC member organization, as well as many regulatory boards, in the United States and Canada.
